Jamie Oliver eat your heart out
Ok so it’s hardly Chanel/Prada but it serves a purpose! Yes I’m on my way to being a real chef, I can now cut vegetables in 6 different ways with 6 different French names to each style … woke up in the middle of the night thinking “paysanne, brunoise, julienne etc etc”. Seriously though college is “so far so good” am enjoying it and now looking to find some casual hours in the industry.
It’s not all hard work though … after the kids went to school Philip and I jogged down to the harbour, Philip then swam across and back to the jetty (while I watched recovering from the jog!), saw a seagull catch a tiddly fish, watched some guys launch their boats, saw a class of kids having a swimming lesson at the harbour, bought a take away coffee and sat on the rocks watching the ebb and flow of the turquoise sea as a guy kayaked away for a days fishing. So grateful to God for this incredible time of blessing in so many ways.
Now I’ve got to type up my notes from my lectures and get ready for my 5 hours in the kitchen … so don’t be too jealous!
Love you all lots xxxx

Kez you look gorgeous in your Uniform - keep that sun off your head its all good. How comes Abigail doesn’t get to wear one of those lovely looking hats though? lol. Both boys look smashing too!
You are all looking very healthy, and very happy. This blog is a great tracker for what you guys are up to and how things are going for you. It’s good to hear that things are going so well. Totally jealous of all the beautiful things you keep taking pictures of and describing - what is deserved though!
Love to you all,
Daniel & Louisa xxxxxx

This is from Lisa. Michelle you look like a real professional! It’s a shame that we won’t be sampling any of your French fancies ,we’ll make sure we have the opportunity for you to cook for us when we next see you.
Kezia, Jake and Ethan, I love your uniform, it’s a shame that there are no corks hanging from your hats!
